Sir Padampat Singhania University has been established by the JK Cement Nimbahera Foundation, a Public Trust. It was established at Udaipur, Rajasthan by an Act (Udaipur Act, Act No. 4 of 2008) of the Govt. of Rajasthan in 2007, under section 2f of UGC Act 1956.
