The Pacific University College of Optometry operates EyeClinics and EyeTrends opticals throughout the Portland area.

The services offered by eye clinics include:

• Complete eye examinations
• Glasses and contact lens services
• Special services for the partially sighted
• Infant vision testing
• Color vision evaluations
• Vision therapy for eye alignment problems and reading/learning difficulties
• Testing and treatment for eye disease such as glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy

Admission requirements

Good academic record

Optometry Admission Test scores.

The Admissions Committee strongly encourages applicants to take the OAT early.

The OAT must be taken by Feb. 1, 2016.

Essay responses

Applicants are required to have a minimum of 30 hours of unpaid observation with an
optometrist prior to application
