The Orissa Staff Selection Commission was established in year 1994 at Bhubaneswar.
The Commission has conducted recruitment examinations for posts of S.1. of Police, Inspector of Co-operative Societies, Welfare Extension Officer, Local Fund Auditors etc.Till June, 2011 the Commission has conducted 139 recruitment examinations and sponsored 5343 numbers of selected candidates for appointment.
