Osmania College, Kurnool was established in 1947 by philanthropist, Dr. M. Abdul Haq, it is recognized by UGC under Section 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act of 1956 and this university is affiliated to Rayalaseema University, Kurnool….

It is the first Degree College in Rayalaseema and one of oldest in Andhra Pradesh state.

Osmania College, Kurnool, was established in 1947. It is a minority institution, recognized by UGC under Section 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act of 1956. It has been affiliated to Rayalaseema University, Kurnool from 2010.

Its vision is to serve by nurturing moral values and ethics and by imparting value based education to all classes of students in order to uplift the society through youth empowerment which ultimately leads to National development.
