The Academic Staff College (UGC - HRDC) at Osmania University was established in 1987; so far 81 Orientation and 245 Refresher courses have been organized.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ATTENDING ORIENTATION & REFRESHER COURSES

Lecturers working on a regular basis in UGC / State scales

Temporary / Contract teachers who have been teaching for at least two academic sessions in an institution which is affiliated to a University for at least two years


Admission:

The lecturers have to apply for OC / RC through proper channel. The Academic Staff College (Human Resource Development Centre) will send the admission letter to the eligible candidates.

Along with the relieving orders, the applicant should bring the Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- payable at Hyderabad favoring the Director, Academic Staff College, Osmania University, Hyderabad towards Registration fees AT THE TIME OF JOINING THE COURSE.

There should be a gap of one year between two courses.

The candidate should have a minimum two years of service for joining into Refresher Course.

The candidate has to bring two photographs (one stamp size + one passport size) at the time of admission into the course.
