OUAT examination will be conducted by the Orissa University Agriculture and Technology for providing admission in various UG, PG, PhD and other courses. One will get admission in the fields of agriculture, horticulture, veterinary science and animal husbandry, agriculture engineering, etc.

Eligibility Criteria for OUAT

Indian national candidate who have domicile of Orissa state can apply.

One having +2 Science /equivalent with minimum of 50% mark in aggregate (40% for SC/ ST/PH) including extra optional is eligible; however, one appearing +2 Science Exam can also appear the entrance exam.

One admitted into B.Sc. (Ag) without having Mathematics or Biology at the +2 level will have to make up the deficiency by taking pre-requisite courses in the subject (Mathematics/ Biology) to be offered during the first two semesters.


Age Limit
One must have completed 17 years of age by 31st December


Reservation of Seats
ICAR/VCI - 15%, SC - 8%, ST - 12 %, GCH - 5%, Ph. Handicapped - 3%; the seats reserved for SC & ST candidates separately are not interchangeable


OUAT 2020 Exam Pattern

Medium:
The medium of examination will be English.

Mode:
The exam will be conducted through offline mode.

Duration:
The time duration of the exam will be 2 hours.

Type of Questions:
The question paper will contains multiple choice questions.

Total Marks:
The question paper will be of 200 marks.

Marking Scheme:
1 mark will be awarded for right answer.

Negative Marking:
There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
