Written Exam Pattern:

Technical Posts
Marks: 200

(i) Mechanical, Information Technology, Electrical, Civil, Automobile, Electronics:

1. General Awareness (Conceptual Business Knowledge) & Technical Aptitude (pertaining to applied post): 30 Marks
2. Computer Applications (O level): 20 Marks
3. General Engineering including Engineering Drawing (Diploma Level): 30 Marks
4. Engineering in respective Trades (Diploma Level): 120 Marks


(ii) Chemical, Metallurgy, Clothing Technology, and Leather Technology:

1. General Awareness (Conceptual Business Knowledge) & Technical Aptitude (pertaining to applied post): 30 Marks
2. Computer Applications (O level): 20 Marks
3. General Engineering including Engineering Drawing (Diploma Level) OR General Science & Arithmetic/Analytical Ability: 30 Marks
4. Engineering in respective Trades (Diploma Level) OR Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with emphasis on Chemistry (B.Sc. Level): 120 Marks


For Non Technical Posts
Marks: 150

1. General Awareness (Business Knowledge): 20 Marks
2. Numerical Aptitude & Non-Verbal Reasoning: 50 Marks
3. Basic English: 10 Marks
4. English OR Hindi including Noting Drafting knowledge/ skills: 40 Marks

General Engineering: All branch & focus will be mainly on Engineering Drawing.

For Non Technical Post:

Numerical Aptitude: Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie, Chart.

Reasoning: analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.

Basic English: Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence correction fill in the blanks, Misspell word, One word Substitution, Active & Passive Voice, Preposition etc.
