I want to join PSU’S and for this I am doing preparation of the ONGC GT Psychometric Test want to know more about this test. Will you please provide me syllabus of ONGC Graduate Trainee Exam so that I get to know about the sections available in this ONGC test?

The ONGC release that the number of post for the GTT with distribution among various quotas for backward classes.

The format of the GTT is of three stage process i.e. the written exam, psychometric test and interview stage.

Part 1- Written Examination (Objective type) - three sections (Duration: 03 hours)

General Awareness
Concerned Subject
Aptitude Test – this section contains:

Reading Comprehension,
Verbal/Non- verbal Reasoning,
Numerical Ability/ Quantitative Aptitude
Data Interpretation

Part-2 Psychometric Test Interview

Those who will qualify written examination shall be called for psychometric test and Interview as per merit and criteria decided by management.

Tips to crack exams:

Cover the syllabus fully without leaving any considerable portion, as it may turn out that many questions might arise from the units which we might have not touched.

Refer to standard text books for the portion given. One good book for aptitude is the one written by the famous R.S Aggarwal who has comprehensively put the aptitude sections in lucid style. For higher references, a book written by Arun Sharma is popular.
For the English section and general awareness, along with any standard books, which are plenty in the market, refer to other competitive exam question papers as you would get a broad idea of what might be asked.

Practice as many problems as possible and cover as many different types and situations few problems as possible. This would enable you to comprehend the question asked quickly in short time.

In exams like these, speed and accuracy hold the key. You have to enhance your speed of answering the question also you have to be accurate in answering the correct answers.
