The Center for Research and Communications (CRC) was the old name of University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P), which is a private university in the Philippines.

The transformation of CRC into a university was inspired by a private meeting in Mexico between the founder of Opus Dei, Msgr. Josemaria Escriva, and the founders of CRC in 1970.

The University of Asia and the Pacific is a private, not-for-profit institution of higher learning that offers some of the most outstanding academic programs in Asia.

All programs of study are grounded in liberal education, which prepares students for their specific specialization by giving them a mature education that cultivates genuine intellectual discipline a prerequisite to acquiring any specialized knowledge.
