OJEE Through JEE Mains

I am interested to do the B.Tech from the Odisha Engineering college. There is need to write the entrance exam. I applied for the JEE mains exam. Can I apply for admission in Odisha Engineering college through JEE mains rather than OJEE? Or I have to write the OJEE?

I am planning to do engineering degree and for this decided to apply for Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) through JEE mains. Will you provide OJEE Through JEE Mains important dates so that I can apply on time also provide pattern of exam so I can prepare well?

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE 2019) is one of the state level entrance examinations. It is conducted for offering admission in Homeopathy/Ayurveda/Pharmacy/ Integrated MBA (5 YEARS)/ Lateral Entry of Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy/ MCA/MBA/M.TECH./M.PHARM/M.ARCH./M PLAN. The exam is conducted every year by the Odisha state government.

Exam Pattern

The OJEE exam pattern will vary course to course. Here, we have mentioned the common details of entrance exam.

Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through offline mode.
Medium: The question paper will be printed in English language.
Duration: The exam duration will be different for each programme. It can be about 2-3 hours.
Type of Questions: There will be multiple choice questions.
Number of Questions: 60 questions will be asked in each hour of the examination.
Marking Scheme: 4 mars will be awarded for each correct answer.
Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

OJEE 2018 is conducted for admission to B.Tech programmes in private and government engineering colleges in Odisha.

For JEE Main qualified candidates, the authorities had started the registrations for OJEE 2018 from June 18.

The registration cum counselling process for OJEE 2018 included choice filling and payment of counselling fee and closed down on June 27.

Allotment of seats for JEE Main candidates will start from July 2, 2018.
