Ohio State Executive MBA

Hi I am interested in enrolling for the Executive MBA program offered by the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University and like to know the details of the same?

The Fisher EMBA program is structured to offer minimal disruption to the busy work schedule and personal life. On-campus sessions meet 3 consecutive days a month i.e. Thursday/Friday/Saturday over a 17-month period, December through April of the 2nd year.

The admissions commission takes a comprehensive approach in evaluating applications, considering the application package on the whole.

The Executive MBA program will accept applications for the incoming class on a seats available basis until November 1.

Once accepted to the EMBA program, a $1,500 deposit towards the tuition is required and is non-refundable after December 1.

The Admission requirements:

Personal Resume
An updated copy of the resume listing work experience as well as career progression. Aspirants should have at least 7 years professional experience.

College Transcripts
Contact all educational institutions one has attended and request one official transcript of all degree course work completed both undergraduate and graduate be sent directly to Dana Brown at the address given below in their original, sealed envelopes or they will not be accepted

Recommendation Forms (3)
Please arrange to have three professional recommendations prepared by persons familiar with your qualifications and potential for graduate study. One of these recommendations should be completed by your immediate supervisor. Recommendations can be completed online.

Employer Sponsorship
Please ask your employer to provide a company letter of support on company letterhead. Endorsement of your candidacy by your employer is a critical factor in the admission decision and must include an explicit commitment of financial resources (if applicable).

Statement of self nomination (essay)
Please tell us in a brief 1-2 page statement why one want to enter the Fisher EMBA program, and how one expects enrollment will impact the demands of the professional as well as personal responsibilities and schedule.

Organizational chart
To assist the admissions committee understand the professional responsibilities and the nature of the organization, please include a copy of the company’s organizational chart showing the position in the organization.

Interview
Eligible aspirants are expected to participate in on-campus interview to review the academic as well as managerial experience and the academic preparation for the program.

GMAT
Some aspirants may be asked to take the GMAT if their undergraduate GPA is below a 3.0 or for other reasons

TOEFL
Aspirants whose native language is not English must demonstrate fluency in English by taking the TOEFL.

Program Fees:

The EMBA program provides a payment plan for the academic year. Program fees comprises of orientation on campus residency and lodging, all program instruction as well as course materials, Thursday evening speaker, breakfast and lunch while on campus.
