The result for the Recruitment of IT or Specialist Officers in participating organizations- (CRP SPL-V) conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is expected to be declared in February 2016.

Closure of registration of application 10/12/2015

Closure for editing application details 10/12/2015

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Specialist Officer:-
Age:-


Min- 20 Years
Max-30 Years

Educational Qualifications:-

a) 4 year Engineering Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation

OR

b) Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & TeleCommunication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/Computer Applications

OR
Graduate having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level

IBPS SO IT Officer Syllabus –

Data Base Management System (DBMS) –
Approx 15-20 Questions will be asked from RDBMS, E- R Diagrams, Normalization, Overview of SQL queries, Transaction Management.

Also 10-20 questions are asked from Data Communication & Networking, IP Addressing (Subnetting), Network, Architecture, OSI Model, TCP-IP Model, Data Communication.

Around 10-12 questions from topics like Operating System - Types of OS, Semaphore, Scheduling, Network Security, Cyber Crimes - Risk Management, Firewall, Cryptography, Process thread, Dead Lock, Memory Partitioning, Page Replacement, Computer organization, Hardware, Microprocessor, Bus Structure etc.

Some questions from Software Engineering and data structure topics like SDLC, Software Development Models, Array, Linked List, Stacks etc

Some questions from Web Technologies and basics of Programming Languages topics like HTML Tags, XML, Network Security, basics of C, C++, OOP languages.
