As a student in nursing program offered by HPU (Hawaii Pacific University), one will learn in a flexible, multicultural environment.

One receive quality instruction that includes training in both clinical facilities and classroom settings: experience hands-on education through clinical placement at healthcare facilities throughout O ahu, and supplement clinical training in its Experiential Learning Centre, where one will be exposed to planned simulations modelled on real-world medical scenarios.

Application Process

One interested in the BSN program must first apply and be accepted to HPU before applying to the BSN program. Without admittance to HPU, one will not be considered an eligible candidate for the BSN program.

One will be notified of their nursing admission status once all applications have been reviewed. Decisions will only be disclosed via official letter, mailed to the address listed on HPU application.

To apply to the BSN program:

1. Complete a general application for HPU

2. One must then meet and submit additional requirements for application to the BSN program. Additional requirements include:
a. Pathway selection
Standard BSN
HM to BSN
RN to BSN
LPN to BSN

b. A TEAS score of 70% or higher
c. Minimum overall college GPA of 3.0 & minimum nursing prerequisite GPA of 3.0
d. Official transcripts for all college coursework taken outside of HPU
e. 2 professional letters of recommendation
f. The HPU Nursing personal statement.
