NLU Delhi or National Law University Delhi conducts the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) exam for BA LLB (Hons), LLM and PhD admissions.

The eligibility and number of Seats in National Law University Delhi for its different programs offered through All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) are as follows:

NLU Delhi AILET 2016 Eligibility

I. NLU Delhi 2016 BA LLB Eligibility: (5 year)

Senior Secondary School Exam (10+2 System) or Equivalent Exam with 50% of marks

One appearing in the 12th standard examination in March / April, 2016 can also apply.

NLU Age Limit:
Below 21 years as on 1st July, 2016 (23 years in case of SC / ST candidates).

NLU Total Seats:
80 [70 seats on merit through All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and 10 seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit]

Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET. Foreign Nationals to be eligible should have 65% marks in the qualifying examination.

NLU Reservation:
15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 3% for Persons with Disabilities

One additional seat for Kashmiri Migrants, one has to appear in the AILET and fulfill the eligibility criteria as applicable.

II. NLU Delhi 2016 LLM Eligibility: (1 year)

LLB or an Equivalent Law Degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC / ST / Persons with Disability).

The candidates appearing in final LL.B. examination in April / May, 2016 can also apply.

NLU Delhi Total Seats:
45 + 5 seats for Foreign Nationals.
Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET. (No. of seats may vary).

NLU Delhi AILET Reservation:
15% for SC Candidates, 7.5% for ST Candidates, 3% for Persons with Disabilities

III. NLU Delhi 2016 PhD Eligibility:

LLM Degree with 55% marks or its equivalent (50% in case of SC / ST / Persons with Disability).
Seats in PhD do not exceed 10.
