Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an all-India examination. As per the rules and regulations of the GATE Exam, there are no limits for the number of attempts in GATE Exam. So applicants can attempt it any number of times, there is no bound for the number of the attempts. GATE Eligibility Criteria Students must be Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final year of such programmes. Aspirants must be Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture (Post-B.Sc./Post-Diploma) and those who are in the final year of such programmes. Students must be Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final year of such programmes. Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master's degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology. Applicants in the fourth or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master's degree programme or Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology. Students with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Applicants who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible. Important Dates: Date of Notificaiton and Start of application process: 1st Sep, 2014 Last Date for submission of online application: 1st Oct, 2014 Availability of Admit card: 17th Dec, 2014 Date of Exam 31st Jan, 2015 to 14th Feb, 2015 |
