Re: Number of attempts in UPCAT

UPCAT Dental 2016 has been replaced by NEET 2016 as per the Supreme Court order on May 9, 2016.

Now, admission in all state-level and private medical colleges will be done on the basis of NEET 2016 results only.

NEET is the national level examination for admission to MBBS & BDS courses.

NEET No of Attempts

There may be 9 attempts (GEN/OBC category) & 14 attempts (Reserved category) to qualify the NEET exam.

This limit is started from 17 years of the candidate to 25 years (GEN/OBC) & 30 years (Reserved category).

No state or other (AIIMS/JIPMER) examination attempts will be counted.

There is not compulsory to attempt for NEET exam continuously. You can get the gap as per your convenient.

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 1400/- (for UR & OBC) and Rs. 750/- (for SC/ST & PH).

The fee payment can be made via online mode (debit/credit card or Net Banking/UPI or E-wallet).

Candidates can submit online fees upto 13th March 2018 till 11.50 PM.
