Re: Number of Attempts for HSC Maharashtra Board Exam

The Maharashtra State Education Board Higher secondary certificate (HSC) students now get two chances to improve their scores under the class improvement scheme (CIS), introduced by the state education board.

Students could appear for the exam under CIS only in October.

Now, if students are not pleased with their October marks, they can appear for the exam again in February-March.

The scheme allows students to reappear for exam, to improve his or her overall score.

It's a important shift considering the equal weightage given to HSC and national joint entrance exam (JEE) for engineering admissions.
