The NTPC has a power station at Obra Sonebhadra. The Obra Thermal Power Station is situated as a Power station in Obra, Uttar Pradesh.

It is in district Sonebhadra about 13 KM from Chopan railway station, about 8 KM off Shakti Nagar road. It is about 125 KM from Varanasi, which is connected by air/rail and road route from all major cities.
