Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS) is situated in Patiala, Punjab.
NSNIS is one of the great Asias Sports Institutes having all advanced technologies and facilities.

This institution provides the various kinds of scholarships for sportsperson with highly immense talent.

The scholarships schemes are ; Special Scholarships for Women, Scholarships for College/University Students, National Level Scholarship and State Level Scholarship.

The NSNIS National Level scholarships is basically designed for those candidates who have special talent and having keen interest in sports..

Scholarship Eligibility :

In National School Games which has been organized by the National Sports Festival for Women, School Games Federation of India and All India Rural Sports Tournament, North-East Sports Festival, Junior and Sub-Junior Jawaharlal Nehru Hockey Tournament and Subroto Mukerjee Football Cup Tournament position holders are eligible to apply for this scheme

The applicants must be regular bonafide student of central or state government/government recognized school/college up to 10+2 class.

These scholarships will be distributed on the basis of excellent performance of the sportsman in any one of the National Sports championships/ tournaments organized by any recognized sports Federation for Sub-Juniors, Juniors and Seniors.

The award of these particular scholarships will also be subject to the sports persons who are satisfying the minimum qualifying standards that are laid down for measurable events.

Age limit:

To apply for this Sai scholarship schemes the willing candidates needs to attain the age eligibility which should not be 18 years old.

For the best performers the age may be relaxed up to 19 years on the first day of the championship.

No sportsperson more than 19 years old will be regarded.

Scholarship value:

All the shortlisted candidates who have applied for the National level scholarship, will be granted an amount of Rs.8400/- per annum (12 months) which is Rs. 700/- per month.

Application Fees:

There will be no application fee is applicable and the application form can be easily downloaded from the website or can be filled via online.

Selection Process:

The selection process is done by the concerned committee which is organized by the NSNIS and selects the eminent sports persons for NSNIS National Level scholarships on the merit basis.
