Re: NRI quota in NIT Jalandhar

NRI students can take admission in National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar through Direct Admission of Students Abroad scheme

Admissions for Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/
Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) under Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) Scheme of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India for Undergraduate programmes in Engineering/
Architecture/ Planning in NITs), IIITs, Schools of Planning and Architecture (SPAs),

Academic Eligibility
Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary or equivalent from recognized University with Mathematics, Physics and one of the subjects from (Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology) in11 AND / OR 12th,
AND
Candidate must have secured a minimum of at least 60% aggregate marks

Residential Requirement
Candidates must be Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian Origin who have completed the qualifying examination in any country (including India)
OR
Indian Nationals studying abroad.

In case of Indian Nationals, they must have completed the 11th and 12th standard or equivalent from outside India
