Can you tell me the process of admission in Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI) Kanpur through NRI Quota?

There is no other way to take admission in NRI Quota other than clearing the U.P. State Engineering Entrance Examination (UPSEE)

Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur is a self-governing institute which is fully financed by U.P. Government and affiliated to Gautam Budh Technical University, Lucknow.

B.Tech. and M.C.A.
Admission in undergraduate B.Tech and postgraduate MCA programmes is through U.P. State Engineering Entrance Examination (UPSEE) only. The admissions against NRI quota seats in B.Tech programmes are also made through UPSEE.

M.Tech. (Full Time)
Admission in M.Tech (Full Time) programmes is done by the Gautam Budh Technical University, Lucknow through centralized counseling process.

M.Tech. (Part Time)
Admission in M.Tech (Part Time) programmes is done through admission test/interview.

Ph.D.
Admission in Ph.D. programme in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering under Quality Improvement Programmes (QIP) is done by Gautam Budha Technical University, Lucknow.
