he National Power Training Institute (NPTI) an ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 organisation, is a National Apex body in India for training and human resources development in the power sector with industry specific technical interface and is the only institution of its kind in India

Objective :

)To function as a National Organisation for training in the field of –
(a) operation and maintenance of Power Stations; and
(b) all other aspects of Electrical Energy Systems including Transmission, Sub-Transmission and Distribution.

ii) To act as an apex body for initiating and coordinating training programmes in the power sector in the country.

iii)To establish and run training Institutes for Engineers, Operators, Technicians and other personnel of Power Sector.
