The syllabus for B Tech 2nd year Electrical Engineering offered by the Faculty of Science and Technology of Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon (M.S.) is as follows:


Course Title:
Mathematics III

Course objectives:
1. To introduce the solution methodologies for second order Partial Differential Equations with applications in engineering.
2. To provide an overview of probability and statistics to engineers.


Course outcomes:
1. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to solve field problems in engineering involving PDEs.
2. Estimate Laplace and Fourier transform and z transform.
3. Understanding the methods of statistics.
4. They can also formulate and solve problems involving random variables and apply statistical methods for analyzing experimental data.
5. Calculate and understand small samples.
