The North Carolina Community College System is a statewide network of 58 public community colleges.
The Institutional Information Processing System users group (IIPS), is comprised of employees, trustees, and friends of the North Carolina Community College System.

The IIPS organization was created to nurture and promote communications, collaboration, and cooperation among academic and administrative computer users within the North Carolina Community College System

Award Criteria

The award is given on an annual basis to a person who has provided outstanding achievement in service to the IIPS organization.
