Yes, there is procedure for the foreigner students for Under Graduation or Post Graduation level entrance exam. The No Objection Certificate (NOC) is provided to the candidate who gets selected in the entrance exam.

The procedure for giving the NOC is taken by some formalities.
Firstly, the university sends it to the institute from where the students want to take admission. Finally the candidate will get the NOC from the college and is able to take admission.

All foreign students require a “No Objection Certificate” from The Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Nirman Bhavan, New Delhi after offer of admission to the College.

Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore is one of the largest medical institutions in India. It is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. There are many courses offered by CMC for undergraduate training including para-medical courses.

All foreign nationals need to submit “No Objection Certificate” from The Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

Tamil Nadu Medical Council Registration Certificate for MBBS and additional qualification. Please note that a “No objection certificate” from the state medical council will be required in order to obtain the Tamil Nadu Medical Council Registration.

Eligibility for CMC Vellore MBBS Entrance Exam

The basic eligibility for appearing in entrance exam is to pass higher secondary examination in 10+ 2 pattern after studying for twelve years from any recognized university. The candidate should study Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in the last two years of study. The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 60% in each of Biology, Physics, and Chemistry and should have an aggregate of 140/200 in all these subjects both in the competitive examination and the qualifying examination. The candidate should have passed in English. The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years at the time of admission.

Exam Pattern for CMC Vellore MBBS Entrance Exam

The entrance exam consists of objective type multiple choice questions. The paper consists of questions from Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and General ability. Emphasis will be on the Speed and Accuracy. There will be some questions from issues of current topical interest. The duration of the entrance exam is 3 hours and 10 minutes. There are 180 questions in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry which is to be completed in two hours. The total number of questions in General Ability with emphasis on Speed and Accuracy and on Issues of Current Topical interest is 120. The duration for this section is 70 minutes. The candidates who clear the written test are called for practical test and interviews. The candidates who are admitted to MBBS course have to work in area of need for two years after completing the course.
