Will you please tell me how many seats are there in Metallurgical branch for lateral entry in West Bengal?

The lateral entry in engineering in Colleges of West Bengal is through JELET exam

Eligibility:
Must have passed in Diploma exam from an AICTE approved institution with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) or passed in B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and pass XII standard
with Mathematics as a subject.

Seats available:
i) Diploma holders and B. Sc, Degree holders shall be eligible for admission to 2nd year Engineering & Technology Degree Courses up to a maximum of 20% sanctioned intake

ii) The students who have completed Diploma course in Pharmacy shall be eligible for admission to 2nd year Pharmacy Degree Courses up to a maximum of 20% sanctioned intake
