No of Attempts for SBI PO exam

How many times a person participates in SBI PO exam, is there any limit???

The candidates belonging to general category who wish to apply for SBI PO exam can attempt it 4 times.

The candidates belonging to OBC category can attempt the exam 7 times whereas

Those belonging to SC/ ST category will not have any restrictions.
They can attempt the exam for as many times as they wish to.

General category candidates: 4 chances
Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates: 7 chances
SC/ ST category: no restriction

Syllabus:

SBI PO Syllabus is of Two Phases 1.Written test and
2.Group Discussion and Interview.

I. Written test:
This test is of 2 papers as
a. Objective paper: This paper consists of 4 sections such as
1. Test of English Language.
2. Test of General Awareness., Marketing and Computers
3. Test of data analysis and interpretation.
4. Test of Reasoning.

b. Descriptive Paper:
Letter Writing
Paragraph Writing
Essay Writing
Precise Writing
Reading Comprehension
There are 2 papers that are conducted and are divided according question type as we have discussed above – Paper 1 and Paper 2

2. Group discussion and Interview: Candidate who have qualified in the written examination will be called for group discussion and interview depending up on the vacancies in each category, subject to maximum of 3 times of the vacancies.
