Master of Computer Applications (MCA) offered by NIT (National Institute of Technology) Surathkal is a three-year professional Master's Degree in computer science awarded in India. It is a postgraduate course that can be taken up after obtaining a Bachelor's Degree.

The admission will be on the basis of performance in the prescribed entrance examination called NIMCET (National Institute of Technology MCA Entrance Test). It is a National Level Test conducted by NITs for admission in to their MCA programme.
