The National Institute of Technology NIT Sikkim provide admission in M.Tech programs through GATE scores.

A Centralized Counselling for M.Tech is conducted known as CCMT.

The NIT Sikkim take admission in ME / M.Tech courses through the counselling process only.

Candidates who qualify GATE exam are required to apply for CCMT.

CCMT Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed the prescribed qualifying exam with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 6.5 in the 0-10 scale grading system, OR not less than 60% marks in the aggregate

However, this prescribed minimum shall be a CGPA of 6.0 OR 55% marks in the aggregate for SC/ST candidates
