Can you tell me about the Placement Procedure in Department of Bio Technology in NIT - National Institute of Technology Raipur?

The vision of Department of Bio Technology in NIT - National Institute of Technology Raipur is to promote, support and facilitate the development of Biotechnology. It train and prepare one to become competent Biotechnologists who is able to apply principles of Engineering and Life Sciences to solve a ample range of problems in a international society.

NIT Raipur Biotechnology Placements Procedure

1. Invitation is sent to Companies /Organizations with the placement brochure and Job Response Form (JRF).

2. Companies /Organizations fill the JRF and send it by email/post to Placement Office, NIT RAIPUR, along with possible dates for Pre-Placement Talk (optional).

3. Information provided by the company is made available to the students. Interested students register for it.

4. Placement office schedules date for campus interviews as per the ranking by the students.

5. The company/organization can confirm or negotiate the dates with the placement office.

6. Resumes of interested candidates are made available for the company as per the request.

7. Short listed students get alert.

8. after the completion of selection procedure on campus. Company is required to announce the final list of the students that day itself.

9. If one is selected, a job is registered against one under the basic & dream company sections and one is not be allowed to appear for more interviews as per placement policy.
