National Institute of Technology- Manipur invites the applications for admission to PhD Programme every year in the following discipline:

• PhD in Civil Engineering (Environmental, Structure)
• PhD in Chemistry (Physical, Inorganic)
• PhD in English (Commonwealth literature, Indian writing in English)
• PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Metal matrix composites, Costing, Material Science)
• PhD in Physics (Material Science)

Eligibility Criteria ---

For Engineering and Technology-

Applicants must have obtained a Master’s degree in Engineering/ Technology with 60% marks.

Or

Applicants must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology with 70% marks .

For Sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics)-

Applicants must have obtained a Master’s degree in Science in respective area of study with 60% marks in aggregate.

For English-

Applicants must have obtained a Master’s degree in English with 60% marks in aggregate.
