NIT Lateral entry for diploma holders

Does NIT offer Lateral entry for diploma holders??? Which are the other top colleges for lateral entry admissions????

As per as me knowledge the NIT does not offer Lateral entry for diploma holders. For admission in the NIT you need to appear in the entrance examination of the NIT and then you will get admission in the first year of engineering course.
