What are the admission eligibility conditions for admission in M.Tech. course at NIT Jalandhar (NITJ) ?

NIT Jalandhar provide inter-disciplinary knowledge through its educational and research programs .

Admission eligibility criteria :

M Tech by Research for Regular Candidates

Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (with valid GATE Score) or Master's degree in appropriate Sciences/Humanities/Social Sciences.

Secure minimum 60% marks (CGPA 6.5) or equivalent.

Having valid GATE score or UGC/CSIR fellowship in the relevant areas.

M Tech by Research for Internal Candidates

Faculty /Technical/ Scientific staff of NITJ having teaching/industrial experience of more than two years are eligible to apply for M Tech by Research Programme.

Academic qualifications are same as required in M Tech by Research for regular candidates.

GATE score of UGC/CSIR fellowship is not required.

M Tech by Research for External Candidates

Faculty/staff working in organizations other than NITJ also eligible for the program .

Academic qualifications are same as required in M Tech by Research for regular candidates.

GATE score of UGC/CSIR fellowship is not required.

Candidates must having a minimum of two years of professional experience after the qualifying degree in the appropriate discipline.
