NIMS University Jaipur Approved By AICTE

The NIMS University Jaipur offers B.Tech Program. I also want to do B.Tech from there. But firstly I want to know that the University has approval from AICTE or not. Please give me contact details of NIMS University Jaipur where I can get information about approval by AICTE and UGC for B.Tech Programs?

NIMS University established under THE NIMS UNIVERSITY ACT, 2008, enacted by the Government of Rajasthan, is duly recognized under the provisions of Section 2 (f) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

As per law, Universities do not require AICTE approval. Only institutions which are affiliated to Universities require approval. As NIMS University is a Bonafide University established by a State Act, it does not require AICTE approval.

The University is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

The university is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The Council grants recognition of medical qualifications, gives accreditation to medical colleges, grants registration to medical practitioners, and monitors medical practice in India.

The Dental courses of the University are approved by the Dental Council of India.

The Pharmacy courses of the University are approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)

The Nursing courses of the University are approved by the Indian Nursing Council.

The Law courses of the University are approved by the Bar Council of India

The Architecture courses of the University are approved by the Council of Architecture (COA)

Joint Committee Recognition on Distance Education Program The Distance Education programs of Nims University are recognized by the joint committee constituted by the UGC, the Distance Education Council (DEC) and the AICTE.
