The NIMS Dental College and Hospital was established in the year 2006 as per DCI norms with the first batch of students numbering 100.

The recognition was given for BDS course by DCI in the year 2010. The college was affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Sciences till 2009 and now it is a constituent college of Nims University.
