NIMCET Negative Marking

I have filled the application form for NIMCET Exam yesterday. I want to start preparation for this Exam from today, but firstly I want to know about its paper pattern. So tell me, in this Exam any type of Negative marking for wrong question? What are total number of questions will ask in the NIMCET Exam and what is the expected cut off for this year admissions?

The NIMCET (NIT MCA Common Entrance Test) is the national level entrance test, which is organized by the National Institute of Technology on the rotation basis to offer admission into Masters in Computer Application Programme


NIMCET Exam Pattern

NIMCET exam pattern consists of information regarding exam mode, marks distribution, the format of the exam, the total number of questions, question paper type and negative marking in the entrance exam.

NIMCET is conducted in offline mode.

The questions are based on Mathematics, Computer Awareness, General English and Logical Reasoning and Ability.

The question paper comprises of Multiple Choice Questions.

NIMCET has a total of 120 questions and 480 marks.

The medium of NIMCET is English.

One is awarded 4 marks for a correct answer and for each wrong answer 1 mark is deducted.

There is no deduction of marks for un-attempted questions.
