Design Aptitude Test (DAT) is conducted by National Institute of Design (NID) for offering admissions to Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) programmes at Ahmedabad campus.

A total of 100 seats will be allocated across eight undergraduate design programmes. Admission to all of the programmes will be granted on the basis of a two-stage competitive exam- Prelims and Mains.

The Prelim stage was held on January 7, while NID DAT Mains will be conducted from May 15 to 22. The Exam Centre of NID DAT 2018 was allotted by the institute on first-come-first-serve basis.
