NID Entrance Examination Form

I had filled the application form for NID entrance examination few months back and now I am really interested in knowing the status of my application form. I am sure very soon the NID entrance examination is going to be conducted I don’t have any status of my application form weather it has been approved or rejected. Pls. help me out.

As you want I am telling National Institute of Design (NID) offers UG & PG design courses in its affiliated campuses. Applicants have to clear the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Prelims & Mains examinations to get admission into various design courses.

Releasing of online application form 25th September 2017
Submission of the application form without late fee (last date) 31st October 2017
Last date of submission of the application form with late fee 9th November 2017
Last date to print the application form and submit it 9th November 2017
Application editing window 14th 16th November 2017
DAT prelims Exam (M.Des, B.Des, GDPD) 7th January 2018

Eligibility
Applicants those have passed/appearing in the 12th standard examination from any recognized board are eligible to apply.

Those applying under the appearing category have to produce the proof of passing the qualifying exam at the time of admission.

Exam pattern

Parts: DAT Prelims will be conducted in two parts. DAT Mains for M.Des will consist of two parts: studio test and interviews.

Exam Mode: It is a pen and paper-based test.

Type of Questions: The part-1 will include the multiple choice questions while part-2 is of subjective type.

Total points: There will be total 100 points each for DAT prelims and DAT mains.

Exam Duration: The time assigned to answer the DAT prelims question paper is 3 hours.

Language: The question paper language will be English only.

Negative Marking: There is no negative marking.
