It offers Postgraduate Diploma in : Journalism (English, Hindi, Urdu, Odia, Marathi, Malayalam) Radio and TV Journalism Advertising and Public Relations About ACJ: The Asian College of Journalism is a journalism school in Chennai, India, which offers postgraduate diploma courses in journalism. ACJ offers a postgraduate diploma with specialisation in four streams under its 10-month programme – Television, Print, New Media and Radio Admission Admission to the program is through a three-stage process : Application - applications are screened and successful candidates are invited to take a test Test - of English, General Knowledge and an Essay Interview - successful candidates are invited for an interview in Chennai Difference: ACJ has better facilities and a better peer group. Highly competetive students make it through to this college of journalism. The quality of education imparted is very high and also, the faculties highly helpful. IIMC is way ahead but then the teaching style is largely content-based and it is about three years behind in terms of syllabi and teaching methods. However, at IIMC you have a more diverse student base and it is a government-run institute. |
