Kiran Chandar | Re: EAMCET for NRI Hello, here I am providing you the details of the eligibility of the EAMCET exam for the NRI students as under: Eligibility: The candidates must be of Indian Nationality, Overseas Citizen of India – OCI (card holder) or person of India Origin (POI). The candidates must have completed their 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2015. The candidates must belong to the Andhra Pradesh state. The candidates must have passed the Intermediate examination or its equivalent from a recognized board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology with minimum 45% marks for General or 40% marks for the reserved categories to meet the eligibility of EAMCET 2015. The candidates those appearing in the 10+2 or its equivalent examinations, will also eligible to appear in EAMCET 2015. They should have to show their passing certificate at the time of admission. Paper pattern: The test has 160 questions with 40 marks for each subject Maths A Botany, Maths B Zoology Physics Chemistry Physics and Chemistry question papers are different for E and AM categories though the syllabus is the same.
