Candidates are selected in order of merit on the basis of multiple choice objective type written test. 15% and 7.5% of the seats are reserved for SC & ST candidates respectively. Foreign National Reservation to the extent of 15% of the prescribed seats on supernumerary basis for Foreign Nationals is made for admission to each of the M.Sc. course available in the Institute provided they have passed the B.Sc. or equivalent qualifying examination from a University outside India.
