Hey, there are not any such criteria of percentage of qualifying examination to appear in AIPMT exam.

Eligibility criteria :
Age : 17 year

Qualification:
Candidate should have passed 10+2 level examination with study of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio – Technology/ Mathematics or any other elective subject with English.


AIPMT Reservation of Seats in Government Medical Colleges under 15% All India Quota :

1. 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates,

2. 7.5% seats are reserved for ST candidates,

3. 27% seats are reserved for non – creamy layer OBC candidates

4. 3% seats are reserved on horizontal basis for Physically Handicapped candidates


AIPMT Exam Pattern:

Paper Type >> paper will contain 180 questions of multiple types.

Duration Period >> time period of Exam will be of 3 hours.

Subjects >> the exam will be based on three subjects as Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology

AIPMT is a national level UG medical entrance exam which is officially conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. AIPMT is conducted for the students who want to take admission into MBBS and BDS in various medical colleges across the country.

AIPMT Eligibility

Minimum 50% of marks in following subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English. Or their equivalency determined as per regulations of Medical Council of India and the concerned university.

The candidate must have completed 17 years and should not exceed 25 years. The age limit for SC, ST and OBC shall be relaxed to 5years.

Students from the states of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible to apply.

Tentative AIPMT 2015 Exam Dates-

Online registration starts 1st week of December 2014
Online registration without late fee December 2014
Online registration with late fee January 2015
Date of receipt of confirmation page in CBSE (From Remote Areas)
2nd week of January 2015
Date of receipt of confirmation page in CBSE for those who submitted applications with late fee 1st week of February 2015
Date of Hosting of AIPMT 2015 Admit Card
Applications without Late Fee 1st week of April 2015
Applications with Late Fee 2nd week of April 2015
Date of Examination AIPMT 2015 3rd May 2015
Declaration of AIPMT 2015 Results June 2015

Exam pattern

Duration: AIPMT 2015 Exam will be of 3 hours duration

Number of Questions: The exam will have 180 Multiple Choice Questions (45 questions from each section of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology)

Marking Scheme: Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct response and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answer. AIPMT 2015 exam will be of 720 marks

Question Booklet: AIPMT 2015 Question Booklet will be of four sets. The question booklet will be in English and Hindi language. Candidates will get question booklet as per their opted language in AIPMT 2015 application form

Syllabus: AIPMT 2015 exam will be based on the syllabus as prescribed by examination authority Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
