Karnataka PGCET 2014 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed qualifying examination or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates ) in aggregate

Candidates must meet the domicile requirements as specified.

Candidates with valid GATE score will be given preference and need not appear for Karnataka PGCET 2014

Karnataka PGCET 2014 Exam Pattern:
Duration of the exam is 120 minutes
Total Marks are 100
Total No of Questions is 75 as follows:
Part 1: 50 questions of 1 mark each
Part 2: 25 questions of 2 marks each

Karnataka PGCET 2014 Application Form Fees:
Rs.650 ( Rs.500 for SC/ST candidates of Karnataka)

Payment Mode:
They must pay by cash at any branch of State Bank of Mysore or at any E-Payment Pot Offices

Karnataka PGCET 2014 Important Dates:
Commencement of Online Application : June 30, 2014
Payment of fees at SBM/E-Payment Post Offices: July 2, 2014
Last Date of Entry of Application: July 10, 2014

4. Fluid s Mechanics: Different types of fluids and units, pressure, byoyant force, Different types of flows, Bernoulli’s theorem, Discharge Measurements, Orifice, most economical section of the channel, Reynold’s and Fraud’s number, Similarities, Pressure measuring devices.

5. 7. Water Supply and Sanitary Engineering: Quantity of Water-water demand. Population forecast, Sources of Water. Quality of water, Types of pipes.
