Ya sure I will get details of National Talent Search Examination and will also let you know some facts about the exam.

Here are some facts
NTSE Scholars also get benefits during NDA selections.

NTSE scholars can enjoy discounts on course materials and books at high school level so they afford to buy some very important and expensive books.

An NTSE scholar is given preference in government jobs as well. It is indeed helpful when appearing for interviews for IFS, IAS, IRS, IPS, etc.

NTSE scholar on resume is an added advantage when you apply for jobs or interviews.

Exam pattern
Stage I Exam Pattern
NTSE Stage-I examination at State/UT level are advised to follow National pattern which comprise of two parts MAT and SAT.

Part-I: Mental Ability Test (MAT)

Part-II: Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) also includes Language Comprehensive Test.

Stage II Exam Pattern
Paper I : Mental Ability Test (MAT)
No. of Questions: 50
No. of Marks: 50
Duration: 45 Min

Paper II : Language Test (LT) English/Hindi
No. of Questions: 50
No. of Marks: 50
Duration: 45 Min

Paper III : Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
No. of Questions: 100
No. of Marks: 100
Duration: 90 Min

Eligibility
All students studying in Class X in any recognized school is eligible to appear in Stage-I NTS exam. Additionally, State/UT can impose any eligibility criteria to appear in Stage-I.

For stage-II, there is a quota for each State and Union Territory computed based on Student enrollment at secondary level.

Students with Indian Nationality studying abroad need to secure 60% marks in previous examination to apply for NTS exam. Such students, if selected, need to appear for Stage-II NTSE directly.

Reservation
15% scholarships will be reserved for students belonging to the SC category,

7.5% scholarships for students belonging to the ST category and

4% for Physically Challenged Group of Students.
