Re: .Net Vs Java.Which Is Better

Both .net and java. have their places in life. Neither are necessarily better, it does depend on what you are trying to do.

.NET is an environment that was founded and is primarily support by Microsoft.

Many parts of the systems are ISO standards (for example) and C# independent implementations are becoming available

Java is an environment that was founded by Sun, who are now part of Oracle.

It appears Oracle wish to retain control of Java and yet not released any of the IP to standards.

The .NET environment is technically better than the Java one,

.NET has a better security model

.NET has a better execution model.

The C# language somewhat tied to .

NET is more modern and more flexible than Java.

.NET is still primarily available on Microsoft platforms

Java is available on more distinct platforms, but they tend to be niche platforms.

Microsoft are larger than Oracle.

Microsoft is a diverse company with major business units in different fields.
