NET SET Exam After MBA
I am completing MBA in Sales and Marketing, Banking and Finance through Distance Learning mode please tell me that can I apply for NET SET exam ?

Hey , you can apply for the NET SET exam as you have a master degree but you should have to fulfill the eligibility conditions for the exam. Eligibility criteria : Applicant should required to have score 55 per cent marks in Masters Degree. Applicant who are in their final year of Masters program or those whose examinations have been delayed can also apply. Applicant who hold PhD degree and have completed their Masters degree be provided relaxation of marks up to 5 per cent. Applicant who are or have been awarded a PhD degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/ SET. Applicant who have qualified the UGC/CSIR JRF examination need not have to necessarily appear for NET. Applicant who have qualified the State Eligibility Test (SET) accredited by UGC for eligibility for Assistant Professor, they are eligible to apply for Assistant Professor anywhere in India. |

Re: NET SET Exam After MBA Hello, here I am providing you the details of the eligibility of the NET/SET exam as under: The candidates who have completed the masters’ course is eligible Candidates with the aggregate of 55% or 54.99% are eligible for the exam The exams held twice in a year hosted by UGC Candidates in the final years of the master’ are also eligible to apply Candidates must be below the age of 28 Application fee: 600 for General category applicants, INR 300 for OBC category applicants and INR 150 for SC / ST category applicants Syllabus: Teaching Aptitude Teaching : Nature, objectives, characteristics and basic requirements; Learners characteristics; Factors affecting teaching; Methods of teaching; Teaching aids; Evaluation systems. II. Research Aptitude Research : Meaning, characteristics and types; Steps of research; Methods of research; Research Ethics; Paper, article, workshop, seminar, conference and symposium; Thesis writing : its characteristics and format. III. Reading Comprehension A passage to be set with questions to be answered. IV. Communication Communication : Nature, characteristics, types, barriers and effective classroom communication. V. Reasoning (Including Mathematical) Number series; letter series; codes; Relationships; classification. |
