Re: NET Eligibility Criteria

The National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted by National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC) to test the eligibility of candidates applying for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) in December 2014 on behalf of the UGC.

Here are details:

Eligibility:
Candidates who have secured at least 55 per cent (50 per cent for reserved category) marks (without rounding off) in Master's Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC are eligible for this test.

Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master's degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test

Age limit:
There is no age limit
