North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology is a science and technology oriented higher education institute in Nirjuli, Itanagar, in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh


Central Sector Scheme of Top Class Education for ST Students with the objective to promote merit amongst ST students for pursuing studies beyond 12th class in the fields of Engineering, Management, Law, Medicine etc. in selected premier Institutions


The scholarship would cover the following components of expenditure –

a) Full tuition fee and other non-refundable dues in respect of

Government/Government funded institutions;

b) Lodging & boarding charges at the rate of Rs. 2200/- per month per student or

the actual whichever is less; and

c) Books and stationery at the rate of Rs. 3000/- per annum per student or the

actual whichever is less; and

d) A latest P-IV computer system with all the necessary accessories like UPS,

Printer, Multi-media etc. Limited to Rs. 45000/- per student for the entire
course of study.
