Here I am providing the paper pattern of the NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) exam conducted by the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology which you are looking for .

Examination Pattern
NERIST Entrance Exam (NEE) consists of three different set of examination.

NEE-I

The entrance examination consists of single paper of 150 marks.

Section I includes 25 questions on Physics of one mark each.

Section II includes 25 questions on Chemistry of one mark each.

Section III comprises of 25 questions on Biology of one mark each.

Section IV comprises of 50 questions on Mathematics, out of which 25 questions are of 1 mark each while 25 questions are of 2 marks each.

The test paper is divided into four sections containing 125 questions in total.

All the questions are of objective type.

For every wrong answer ¼th marks will be deducted from the aggregate marks.

The duration of the entrance examination three hours

NEE-II

Three separate question papers are designed for two streams- first is for the students , who have passed 10+2 with PCM/PCB/PCMB, while second is for the students, who have passed 10+2 Vocational (Technology) and third is for the students, who have passed 10+2 Vocational (Forestry).

NEE-III
Section I includes 25 questions on Physics of one mark each.

Section II includes 25 questions on Chemistry of one mark each.

Section III comprises of 25 questions on Mathematics of one mark each.

Section IV comprises of 50 questions on Branch subject, out of which 25 questions are of 1 mark each while 25 questions are of 2 marks each.

The entrance examination is divided into four sections containing 125 questions in total.
