NERIST Admission Eligibility

What academic eligibility is required for admission in NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) in certificate, Diploma and Degree programs in engineering? Also tell me about the age eligibility required for admission? Also tell me about the NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) in detail?

NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) 2016 to be conducted by the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST), Nirjuli, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh for Base Module (Certificate Course), Diploma Module & Degree Module Courses in Technology streams and also Degree Module course in Forestry.

NEE Entrance test :
NEE-I - Base (Certificate) Courses: Class X appeared/passed

NEE-II - Diploma in Engg & Tech (Technology Stream): Class 10+2 (PCM) appeared/passed

NEE-II (Vocational) - Diploma in Engg & Tech (Vocational): Class 10+2 (Voc.)/ (PCM)/ITI/NERIST Certificate holder in AE/CE/ECE/EE/ME

NEE-II - B.Sc Degree in Forestry: Class 10+2 (PCB) appeared /passed

NEE-III - B.Tech Degree (Technology Stream): 3 years Diploma in the relevant branch of Engineering and Technology



Eligibility Criteria:
For all the examinations (NEE-I/ NEE-II/ NEE-III) with any paper code, applicants who are appearing in the respective qualifying examination and whose results are awaited may also appear in the respective Entrance Examination.


NEET Exam Pattern :

NEE I

It is conducted in one paper of 150 marks of three hours duration. The NEE I question paper will be consisting of three sections.

A – Physics 35 35 questions of 1-mark each
B – Chemistry 35 35 questions of 1-mark each
C – Mathematics 80 30 questions of 1-mark each
25 questions of 2-marks each

NEE II

Section and Subject Marks Questions
A – Physics 45 25 questions of 1-mark each
10 questions of 2-marks each

B – Chemistry 45 25 questions of 1-mark each
10 questions of 2-marks each

C – Mathematics 60 30 questions of 1-mark each
15 questions of 2-marks each

NEE III

Section and Subject Marks Questions
A – Physics 25 25 questions of 1-mark each
B – Chemistry 25 25 questions of 1-mark each
C – Biology 30 30 questions of 1-mark each
D – Branch Subject 70 30 questions of 1-mark each
20 questions of 2-marks each
